Default Element rc ifs2

Looks like Element has teased the second coming of their IFS system. I was not exactly taken by their first attempt though I look forward to their new or updated version. Personally I Hope it comes with better clearance and steering radius. Knowing Element and their modular ways it will surely fit nicely to the existing platform.

Nice to have something new coming down the pipe

Go Element!

Excited to see what Element has up their sleeve! I like the IFS Version 1, but it did need some improvements. Their team is pretty good at rethinking and improving.

Hopeful this new version will be a great addition to a few of my Enduros.

My guess is, the V2 Will probably incorporate most (if not all) of the improvements that others have come up with for the V1. I'm sure we're all 100% certain that it will install in the 'newer' vehicles...but, personally, unless it can be installed in the 'older' vehicles (such as my Gatekeeper Kit), I don't foresee myself purchasing it.

I have always been of the understanding that all the Enduro based rigs are the same chassis. What is newer vs. Older?

Not that I ever bought either...but, weren't there difference between the original Builders Kit, and the V2 kit? I don't know, specifically, what those differences would have been...but, the original is what I'm referring to as 'older', and the V2 as 'newer'. Best I'm aware of, the Gatekeeper Kit I have was based on the original Builders Kit.

There is no difference to the chassis in the v2. Element just provided the updated panhard mount that they developed with the Gatekeeper release. They put the bronze colored factory team shocks in and likely the v2 included some of the parts trees of the Gatekeeper as well. The panhard mount was the most significant change according the memory in my ageing brain

Bottom line is that it was all bolt on stuff

the Hard/grey plastics are the difference plus the factory bits included ... chassis is the same IIRC.

Chassis is the same accross all element rigs. Never a reason to reinvent the wheel with new chassis rails.

Updates like the panhard mount on solid axle rigs.

The Enduro SE has a new style transmission that puts the motor more center and forward . But stl same chassis and all parts interchange.

Looking forward to IFS2. I've got 4 or 5 IFS v1 already for scale Yota builds.

Nice, link worx.

It looks cool. A very Elementesque des8gn, I would say. An unlicensed yota concept vehicle. I like it.

Def a fan of the new body. I much prefer it in SUV style but this body will just differentiate itself from my Venture. I think with this new body I will build a dedicated lightweight FJ crawler, as my Venture is a combination of trail & crawler.

For some reason I couldn't open the link to the pics. Here's the pics I found on the Socials.

I like the body and the looks of the IFS V2. Nice to see the new Stealth trans in there too! I've seen a lot of hate about the body, but I like it. Like all of the other Element bodies that look a little odd, some paint and details and this body can and will look good too!

Interesting, the last pic is labelled "Officially Licensed Camburg L/T Suspension System" - that's a 1:1 off-road suspension engineering company...

The devil is in the details. I like how Element has been pimping their suspension. Nice catch.

Is the body ugly? Because based on the photo, I quite like it. I see some Light Speeder in the hood design.

I am going to end up with a Lego box full of element parts by the time I am finished with the hobby.

The Stealth Trans is my favorite. Quiet and smooth...

What I like most about the body is it still has the stock flare look. It's gonna be nice to cut those off and still have the actual fenders still intact, giving it that look that the stock flares are removed. Should look pretty aggressive with a tall tire under there.
