| Getting the battery forward. Currently I am running the battery in the center of the stock chassis. I want to get it lower and over the front axel. What do you do for a battery mount to get the weight forward. I use http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?cPath=3_4_93&products_id=1975 this battery. I hook 2 up in series for 4s. |

I did see that, It looks pretty slick but I would like to stay with the 4s lipo. It is hard to go back after having that much power. |

i am the person with that battery mount and i can tell you i like my lipo also but spent a lot of time trying to come up with a way to mount my lipo on the front in a clean and functional fashion . there just is not enough room where the gear box is . you could stand the servo up on the short side but then the servo sits too high for my liking . mounting the servo on the short side would give you plenty of room to put a large lipo on the axle . best thing to do is get creative and do it how you like . start by making some cardboard templates and try a few designs . i chose to go with split packs for this build it was the best fit for how i built this crawler . |

I have followed you build thread. You setup is the best that I have seen so far, I may have to go that route.
