Default Offset wheels and steering

I just finished a stock Newage kit. I have enough steering to rub the outside of the shock with the inside of the tire. The track width is about 10.5" wheel to wheel. When you run offset wheels, do you just do with less steering? Or, do you put spacers on the bottom shock mount and not worry about the shock hitting the transmission case at full articulation - Thanks...

Pretty much ya deal with the lack of steering...thats why ya get your dig switches set up and on most surfaces ya pretty much dont need much steering to turn around...ha

A lot of guys run a skinny chassis that tilts the shocks in a bit which will allow a little more steering. Another benefit is the smaller chassis will weigh less if made from delrin.

My tires rub on my rig, I spent more time getting the shocks not to touch the trans or the motors than I did the tires, I just let it rub, makes the springs spin @ full lock, looks kinds kool to me

My last set of springs were down to the bare metal from tire rub.

I took my lower links and put a spacer to move it in closer to the motor, then I moved the shocks from the outside to the inside. I have as much steering as I can without the pins coming out! That with my dig is a lot BTW I running a Kami 3.0 chassis though....
