| Harley's "ARC" chassis build The other night while working late I came up with a unique method of producing a chassis with a narrow bottom and wide top. This chassis can be easily produced with traditional methods. This chassis doesn't require metal parts to be bent which has been the method others have attempted. This chassis also has the narrowest lower profile available, right around 1" The chassis is fairly low profile, less than 2.7" from bottom of the skid to the highest point. This is a very unique design and one I am excited to get the prototypes back in the next few days. Specs:

I am probably over-looking something but how would you use the first set of 3 holes in the chassis for the upper links with the yellow part blocking the back?

Not bad. I mean, it's no Rock Force chassis, but maybe after another 3 years of development it may work. j/k Nice job. I likey. So when is your BTA/knuckle setup going to be available? |

Thats a nice design. Very innovative! Will all the components and screws cause it to weigh alot? I'm not sure it would hurt, but honestly thats the only possible downside I think anyone could find. |

Actually that part is just cut from a piece of 1/4" material, expanding it would mean you would have to widdle that piece from a large chunk of material. I could always just take away the other 6 holes and just give those 3 for anti-squat adjustment.

No idea on the BTA and Knuckles. It is definitely more complicated and has more components. The chassis is small overall though. The upper section may be made from carbon fiber for style, strength, and weight savings. The "boat sides" are only 1/16" material, and the skid and "Ribs" are 1/4". The Skid is so small that it will weigh less than a traditional skid so there is just that very small amount of material above the skid that would be "extra" over any other chassis.
