| Meat!
Ok, I started on my 09 rig. Calling this one MEAT! SPECS: Chassis: Kamikaze Kustoms ZERO T (WHITE) Axles: Berg with Axial stubs Steering: KK Delrin High Clearance Tie Rod (White) Lock Outs: JP Custom RC lockouts Shocks: N/A ~ 70mm links Lower Links: KK Delrin Mid(front) and high(rear) clearance links (WHITE) Upper Links: Axial 98mm link (128mm total) in front. Traxxas aluminum Revo push rod (part #5318X) (138mm) in the rear. Wheels: Mayhem Delrin Berg Offset 7s (WHITE) Tires: Panther Cougars Foams: Prototype ESC: Tekin FXR w/ Castle BEC Radio: Spektrum DX3R Dig: Holmes Hobbies Manly DIG Switches on KK Dig Tray Motors: JP Custom RC / Team Brood 35 T Warrior IIs Servo: Hitec 7955 Batteries: 3S 25C 2200 Rhino Body: JP Custom RCs Prototype Jeep / JConcepts Stage Killah First off, I want to thank my sponsors! Kamikaze Kustoms, JP Custom RCs, Panther Tires, and Team Brood for their fantastic support! THANKS GUYS! I started by tearing down my 08 Zero 3.5 and rebuilding the front axle. I'm adding the KK Delrin high clearance tie rod so my old set up came off. I removed the Fubar lock out from the rear and used them to lock my front knuckles. This makes marking the new hole locations on the front knuckles much easier! After I had the holes marked, I drilled the holes and removed the excess material from the knuckles. Next I opened up the axles, checked all the bearings and re-lubed the gears w/ Rocksmith's gear jelly (I love this stuff) and then closed everything back up and reinstalled my 08 Warrior motor until my Team Brood 35t Warrior IIs show up! As I'm just switching things over from the Zero 3.5, not much to report. Front is assembled minus the new motors, and wheels. No pics as the damn batteries are dead. I'll pick up some AAs tomorrow and snap a few. |

Hope your knives are sharp Mr. Champion sir, there's a new nOOb in town, and he's a real ASSHOLE from what I hear! Besides, even if I lose, think of the lines I can use. "Man Josh really beat my meat well this weekend". "Noone can beat my meat like Harly!" Last edited by dezfan; 02-02-2009 at 04:16 PM. | |||

Here are the pics, nothing exciting really. Just transfering from the Zero 3.5 60 the Zero Pic of the knuckles after being modded to use Kamikaze steering link. Little closer shot. Front shot. Looking down on the front. Side view. Now, I'm just waiting on parts. I got spoiled living in Columbia and having a good LHS to hit when I needed prts. Now I have to order my crap and wait. |
