| robbio's berg build
this build will start ou live and will be updated every few minutes untill i run out of parts for the day parts list:SOLD TO MINI newage berg axles KK zero 3.5 kit in white derlin with med/high links meyham comp 7's white derlin with blue 5star rings rover white dot. custome foams mamba max castle bec brood 45t x2 rcscrewz kit for axial traxxas ball ends punk switch JR z9100t cdw steer vp knuckles pic is what i have on hand. steering servo, wheels and motors are on there way. enjoy quick question... what size screws are people using for the lower links? 25mm is too short. 30mm is too long. i guess im going to have to cut some 30's down so they fit better Last edited by robbio4422; 11-20-2009 at 10:01 AM. |

You talking about were they attach to the skid? It was a head scratcher for me as well when i was putting together the ST, so i just cut down the skid a bit so the 25mm would work.

I used the Revo rod ends. Worked just fine. Jatos would be massive.

Make sure you use 2 more bolts to attach the side plates to the skid (not just the ones for the links) this will make it a lot stronger. looking good so far.

as you can see i cut 3mm off from each of the 4 corners so that i could use the 25mm screws fom rccrewz and catch the locknut |

It's coming along nicely... Were you planning on clocking your axles? Still undecided on mine, was just going to run them stock and see how bad I drag the motor around, at least to start with. |
