Why so much (unknown and WILL NOT TELL YOU!!!!!! ) us newbies need to know what you are doing so we don't make the same mistake when we build ares. Be interested to see how that chassis works out, haven't seen any builds around that one on here. And show some close up picks of your electrical set-up please as that part gets passed over most of the time. Anyway I will be checking in on your progress and enjoy... so far I have only purchased a Futaba 4pk radio for my first ever build. I will be getting 2 esc and motors next. |

the dual radio shack esc thing scares me a little bit. Also, your going to regret glueing those rovers on those POS wheels. If I were you I would JB weld a aluminum hex into them, if you do not they will strip, and if you run a plastic hex, and if those motors have any kinds of balls at all with a lipo you will mess those plastic hexes up. other than that the truck looks pretty cool, cant wait to see how the build goes |

| Ah, well if you have the berg hexes you might want to JB weld them in. I tried the HPI mesh wheels when I didnt have the money to grab some good beedlocks and I kicked my self in the arse for it come comp day. all 4 stripped within the first 5 mins I drove it |

The most famous foot in the nation? what? How come Ive never heard of him? I just got some of these: You really should look into some good beedlocks. Those wheels seriously will not hold up to a berg.. Im sorry to say |

I paid 80 bucks for mine from MayhemEng. Hes a vendor here on RCC, and a great guy at that. You should check him out. He has a deal on the mayhem 7's right now for 80 bucks and they look awesome The only time I ever ran some mayhems I got a 7th place finish. Man I was stoaked, but I had borrowed the wheels, and now Im about to have the same wheels I got that finish with |

| Prob break that scale. When Im just messing around, I try to make the worst that can happen, happen. Cliff diving, backflipping, wheelies, twisting, binding. All that. During a comp, Im pretty cautious and slow to make sure Im watching what Im doing, which is the way you want to be.
