What Knuckles are you running with Your Berg Axles? Let me know what type knuckles you are running. |
Vp.... |
The VP is a really nice knuckle. |
we shal see... i heard some people gringing off the outer hole so it wont catch a tire and rip a hole in it... |
vp in front, with outer hole cut off stk in rear, with the whole arm cut off |
stock but would run whichever I needed to for them to fit"thumbsup" |
VP with the outer hole cut off |
VP's won't work with CVD's, not currently. It's built on the Axial design which causes turning problems for both the stock Axle Stub or the soon to be released CVD's. I'd build you CVD's to work on stock and CKRC's. VP I'm told is working on a Berg only unit. |
i have VP knuckles and RC4WD XVDs, works just fine |

I run stock knuckles. I see no reason to switch. The give me full turn lock to lock and don't hang up on my wheels or tires."thumbsup" |

CKRC just cause I had them |
im running stock for now, ill probably switch to the VPs soon when i re do my steering. stocks on the rear with the arm cut off. |
I have all the knuckles VP's,Axials, stock, and CKRC and I am running the CKRC after I tried them all. The reason is I am running CDWs 20* BTA steering and its made for VP but it won't turn as sharp unless you grind your stubs. I also preordered my super 300 cvds and it won't work with VP. So finally I modified the steering for CKRC which now my steering is AWESOME! (it turns extremely sharp ) And it will work with the new cvds. |
cvd What knuckles are you using, and what stubs are you grinding off? thank you for any info!!! Quote:

Modified stockers, cut the arms off and made new ones. |
VP with cut-down Axial stubs. I use the inner/shorted hole on the arm and to date (with my BTA set-up) have not had to grind the end of the arm (2nd hole) off. |
Zero Ackerman VP's are going to be where it's at"thumbsup" http://www.vanquishproducts.com/vp-h...ackermann.html Tolerances look pretty tight in their pictures though. Hopefully they'll clear the Berg offset. |
