| HD Mantis
last saturday I have revived my broken Mantis with a Delrin backbone.... And now the spare Sideplate in my Postbox (thx Solomon)..... But anyhow I have timed thus the feeling this my bomber Berg (heavy... just) the filigree Mantis immediately again hence... after 3/4 hours in the cellar... tata... the MONSTRIS... some revised.... lower... blacker.... more nastily.... ähh. plastic-like...... and of course not yet ready after ner 3/4 hours but hopefully MONSTRIS moderately long-lasting and of course also performant..... p.s. ouhh ääh my english ist very very bad... please forgive |

I run the newest version of the mantis, the SD2.2. Its lower and slimmer. I did try the thicker version though it wouldnt flex at all. good luck.

Looks sick man. I see you too had problems with the rear bending untill it finally snapped off. Ur thread inspires me to want to do a delrin mantis chassis cause I love my aluminum one its just too weak when it comes to harsh falls and what not. check out my mantis build on here...
