| Beetlejuice V2 build..white chassis dyed YELLOW
ok,got the new V2 Beetlejuice chassis from Krawlfreak...BTW THANK YOU already had the links dyed yellow and the upper links dyed yellow.. at this time my son is choosing to use the dogman links that i had built in white so i could dye them..tonight was alot of dyeing yellow over the stove top and dealing with yellow fingers!!! but as you can see the beetle is coming along ..... tomorrow will consist of side panels modifying the upper links and making the roof panel and some other odds and ends.. so here you go.... |

You need a set of the yellow x-locks to go with it, imo. Would def. be a head turner..

lookin good marc. once you get the other links on you might want to try to shorten your front uppers to get a little more caster in the front axle, it will help with the steering.

I am not happy about your build. I like having a secret weapon in this chassis. The more that get out, the worse I will do in comps ( not that we will ever find out how we did at some comps ). I will give this chassis credit, because its not my driving that makes it work well. In the hands of someone who can drive ( like your kids) they are potent.

hay everyone this is Shay crawlerdads son.First of all i just want to say thanks to krawlfreak for the AWESOME chassis. When i started comping i had a ax10 and it was ok. Then i got a beetle juice chassis and it worked great but this new V2 chassis that krawlfreak modified is the BOMB... I can allready tell from just playing on our backyard course that the V2 is going to work GREAT!!!!! I just got this chassis at the last comp and my dad and i have worked on it non-stop for three days. The pictures show the results.... I guess robbio is going to have to get used to finishing waaay behind me and my BEETLEJUICE V2 !!!!! But i really do want to thank my dad for all of his HARD work building all of my great crawlers... So thank you DAD very very very very very very much. So i guess the next comp at south mt is going to be a pain for all of you. PEACE OUT BOYS!!!!!! |
