Cheapest place and best place to buy a BERG kit?

I think I am finally gonna do it. I have been watchin a member in the club with a berg and I have always wanted one. So I am checking to see who sells them the cheapest and And if I should get the kit or just axles. I ll be starting from ground zero with this type truck. All my other 2.2 rigs are shaftys. So any advice would be awesome!!

thanks Tom #93 "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Just get the axles as the shocks and the rest of it are not that great. I would also suggest looking into bully axles as well, as they are made in the U.S., and appear to be ready to go withoout any upgrades needed."thumbsup"

I saw some used Berg axles in the for sale section they already had lockouts VP knuckles and a few other extras for $120.

I would not get the kit...the chassis, shocks and wheels are not any good for a berg. Just get the axles, some lock outs, and axial stubs and your good to go.

yeah dont get a kit, just peice one together, it will be way better. Just pick up some used or new axles then go from there, nice chassis, berg offset wheels and so on.

Is that true? I thought RC4WD stuff was made in China?

landon4 09-17-2009 01:17 PM

There isn't anything made in the USA hardly anymore they might put it together over here but as far as being made it usually isn't but they still slap a Made In the USA sticker on it just because it was put together here.

Maybe you will kick my a..., but i received mine directly from Hong Kong...

...for me it doesn't matter, because they were engineered in USA, have superb pricing and hammer to fall build quality...
