| el nino 2 build!
the chassis will be here on monday. and im going down to ckrc to pick up berg axles and the ota kit today. this is what i have thus far fxr x2 futaba s9157 cc bec losi cralwer shocks with tcs med internal springs ericks inc bedlocks comp heavy and regular much more to come as for links im not sure what im using yet any ideas? |

I am excited to see this build! most guys in utah run the axial machined links and cut the long side down to the inside of the first hole and thread them for 4mm revo ends! a couple others run custom stainless bent links or cut down STRC bent links! always with 4mm rod ends though! here is a pic of an original nino with the axial links! |

update i have it running so here are some specs 70 mm uppers all around with axial ends lowers are the ckrc 30deg. bent i cut 1/2 inch off each one 1/4 on each end this puts me at just under 12.5 shocks are losi crawler shocks rears are stock whites tightend 3/4 of the way down fronts are the tcs med internal springs 40wt shock oil all around any questons lmk its first run on the rocks is tommrow! i will let you know how it goes along with pixs |

the ground clearance is at about 3 1/4. we had practice today but i was having issues with the fxrs. tommrow is forsure going to be its first outing and i will update pics and results. first impressions is this is an amazing chassis

its been a while but i had a few more runs on it and this thing crawls very well i spaced rear uppers out about 5 mm. then i countersunk tthe skidplate holes so theres less to hang up on. siped all four tires. all uppers and front lowers have been replaced with deliron links i will be going to hobbytown on saturday for more tuning the rear is wayyyy to soft with the losi springs. |
