| Berg Tracer 2.2
I know a few folks are trying this rig out. I have ran into a problem on the front end. The outer cvd is attached to the axel via 2 set screws tightened down on 2 flat spots on main axle. Well my problem is that I cant seem to be able to keep the set screws seated on the flat spots. I have rounded off the end twice. I have tried to file them down and also to groove them but nothing has worked yet. Any suggestions?

Super 300s are currently being designed/made by sds customs. If you were really desperate you may be able to fit a berg final gear with the lockers and then modify existing super 300s similar to what they did with HR axles. Kieren |

I had mine loosen up once. I put some loctite on and has been OK since, but I still check them often along with all my other screws So put a new shaft in and loctite and go have fun |

Locktite and check them after every run. Mine are holding up fine so far. Very interested to see if/how the 300s will do away with the the through axle?

| faulty shaft
I think I just got a bunk drive shaft. Cause I used loctite on all screws and the screws didnt come loose it is what chewed the shaft up. Guess we will see. I ordered 2 more shafts and alot of other spare parts. |

Yeah you must have got a incorrectly hardened one or something:? Because I have had my cvds come loose in the middle of a comp and had me driving on them pretty hard in my books, and the shafts still look great. The super 300s will have to split in the middle, so I would assume that means that, either sds customs will have to make a locker some how or will we have to swap in a v1 berg final gear and locker. Things to do prior to loctiting the grub screw.
Things NOT to do.
