The results are in!!!!!

we just finished up the 801RCC points series,
and the "DEMON" swept the topspots!!!

All three of our initial "DEMON" chassis testers swept the points series with a 1,2,3 finish!!!

This is quite impressive considering all three of them switched rigs mid series and came out and wiped the floor with everybody with untested and unfamiliar rigs!!!

Congrats to Naz-T, Mac10, and Senor C@tfish on taking the top spots and showing everyone how dominant our chassis's are, and once again proving that we design chassis's to dominate and destroy the competition!

I got the new lid finished up last night for AWCC!

I was struggling to find time to do it, due to the fact I was elbows deep in c@tfish's steering setup, so I called him over to be my beer bitch and to paint my body. (I think I'll start calling his paint jobs c@tfish customs)

here is what he whipped up for me.

it was late when we finished. So it was hard to find good light to show the color of the paint.
Here are some i snapped at 6:30 this morning on my way to work

and now all I have left to do is tighten up my wheel nuts Nd give the rig a once over and "Kreacher" will be ready to roll first thing in the morning!!!

You better watch yourselves cause I intend on whipping some ass this weekend!!!!!!!!!:mrgree n:

It's time to try something new!!!

Got my new set of losi Boss Claws(red) today, and hope to get some testing on them tonight if I find a set of wheels to use!

I have seen these tires lay the smack down at a couple comps now, and I really feel these tires will be a great tire!

I'll post my thoughts and opinions when I get some time on them.

I just picked up some boss claws today as well, can't wait to try them. What are you thinking for foams?

I mounted them on some lightened DNA snipers off of my buddies rig.
I used a full Sedona foam in the from with one wrap of weights, and the stock foam in the rear with no weights.

I like the tire, but I can tell it's gonna take some time to get the setup right.
I think the rear foams were too stiff and I didn't have the weight right because it got really light in it's feet!

You can tell the tire works well, but not withoutthe correct weight and foam tuning.

A little bird tells me that "Mac10" will be running the new "Chaotic Machined lower links" at 801RCC's comp this weekend!!!

Can't wait to see them on the rocks finally!
It's been a long process to get them where we wanted them!

well, ive been pretty busy with life lately, but have had some time recently to do some link testing.
I started with some prototype machined links, I was hopeful about them, but realized quickly that they needed to be clearnaced pretty heavily to work properly with this narrow chassis.
so i ditched them and am now running the new
"Chaotic Links"

they are made from 7075-t6 aluminum 1/4" rod!
they are super strong plus I am more of a fan of the round link versus square anyways.

I have always ran stainless or Titanium lower links, so I am used to a link that slides easily across the rock and doesnt hang up.
I think that the 7075-t6 aluminum will definately slide alot better than a standard aluminum link(but I will finf out for sure tomorrow night!)

I have always been the type of person to pay close attention to how certain setups react in certain situations, and I really enjoy the tech and suspension setup with my crawlers!
I'malso going to try a little bit different shock setup tomorrow, if time allows!
I love my current setup, but now that the point series is over, I feel now is the time to make some changes and try to make my rig perform even better!
I'm going to try a 3.5" shock up front, this will allow the rig some droop out for those extreme ledges!(even though my current setup will do any line that any of my local competition will do!)

????? I'm assuming you are reffering to the fact that I have a new rig?

It WAS working great, until I sold out to an XR10

we just had our first child a couple weeks ago, so i've been out of the game for a bit now.

I stole all my electronics out of this rig for my xr10.
so far I'm loving the lightweight of the xr over the berg.
it allows me to put the rig into places i've never been able to!

the demon chassis gave my rig an edge over everybody in our local scene.
once I started using it,everybody wanted it!
I came in 2nd overall in our points series, technically first if we didnt have a throw out comp. (I was named the most consistent driver in 801RCC)

everybody that runs this chassis loves it.
it's very predictable and has outperformed most other rigs out there in our local club.

I wish it would fit my xr, but since it doesnt, I'll just have to wait for my new xr specific chassis from chaotic crawlers!
