On course 4 I watched alot of drivers exit a gate that ended up making them fall and taking out another gate. To prevent this I took a gamble and ramped off about a 4.5 foot cliff. It paid off, but aparently I broke some stuff too, luckily I finished the course and didn't even notice the issues until I went to give the rig some pre run lovin.

Really been working on getting some drive time on my rig to increase my abilities on the rocks. Did a 6 hour session this saturday at SDS customs house and took some time to get some clips of the rig. "I didn't let the foams drive" after my previous comp and it really killer some performance, so new nova foams are on the way.

What do you mean by this?

Soon soon soon. Sorry guys, my machinist has been working on his building to prepare for winter, then has been hit by the flu.

On a side note, Ordered some Brood Motors and Rc Axle Master rear shafts last time. Berg is getting a tear down this week in prep for the December 5th comp.

Knuckles with oversize bearings are in the polisher and will be released soon. 7075 4th gear lockers are also in the polisher and will be shipped for testing ASAP. O, and if you haven't seen the rcbros facebook page, we got something killer I'll be testing on my rig, I hope to post it up soon.

As much as I want them out by Xmas, I need to make sure they get tested properly before re-release.

I'm looking forward to all your new parts as well, I really appreciate your dedication to quality and not sacrificing in order to rush parts to market.

Above is a picture of a set of gears we recently milled for a customer. I've been getting asked more and more for this service, so I decided to start making it an option for our customers.

For more information check out our vendor thread here:

So I haven't updated this thread in awhile, because I haven't had many updates. I finally decided to simply run my rig over and over and make adjustments here and there without any major changes. I just wanted to increase my skills as a driver instead of increase the abilities of my rig.

I'm at a point now where I feel when I'm mentally there I can crawl with the best of them. I have been consistently scoring well on most of the courses I've run and have hand a handful of highest scores for an individual course. My problem now is simply doing this on all 4 courses through the day, instead of having 1 giveaway course like I have been doing lol.

So, I've picking up items here and there for a full rebuild, and today is the day.

4PL
2 Tekin FXR's
CC BEC
4 Traxxas Bigbore shocks
T1E Rockshow

Should be fun! Just fnished up the ESC wiring, now onto the rest.

Got it put together and ran yesterday. It seems ALOT smoother with dual tekins. I'm having an issue with no drag brake in the rear and the 4PL without the update is alittle hard to get use to.

But heres a snap shot from last night. Still waiting on my skins..

Managed to get a good practice session in, (video to come) but for now here's some pictures to stare at. You can see I added big bores to the rear. I used JeepinDougs standoffs both front and rear, adding a rubber seal on each side (thanks gunnar). I'm still having issues with weak drag break in the rear. I've reset my ESC's and played with my radio settings to no avail. Thank you Harley for your help setting up my radio!
