Got some packs in today at a good local crawl spot, took some video while I was there. Check it out! from William Gauderman on Vimeo. Just doing some practicing with the berg, also a buddies XR10 in a few clips. |

My rig has been working great, my driving however is still not where I want it to be. I continue to score very well one 1-3 course and just ok on another. Having so many well ranked drivers in my club every point counts. I've decided to upgrade some things on my rig before ECC. Below is the start. Clover Designs front axle with 86jeep mod. I was a drok and ordered XR C's so I couldn't start on this rig until today when I picked up some aluminum AX10 C's. For those who are not aware, if running these axles with the 86jeep steering mod, your upper link mount will need to be modified. A $5 lowes hacksaw worked great for me. The quality of these tubes are great and fitment was a snap. I felt it was neccessary to brush the anodizing off the gear case so everything matched. The axles came with a new steering link, but It was a tad short for my Zero Ackerman knuckles, I was going to use it with Jato rod ends, but decided to use my old steering link. I can't wait to see how the rig preforms with the clocked knuckles. |

Did you clock the tubes or just the C-Hubs? I plan to get a set of these tubes, just got a few other upgrades to knock out first.

I recently had a electronic failure thanks to myself. I believe the issue may be minor, but with a large comp and alot of money invested to go to it, I decided it was best to just replace the tekins with new ones. Luckily I had 2 new ones sitting here that I bought in the past for the scalers, so I didn't have to just drop the money. I decided to shorten the plug wires on everything while I was at it. I wanted to order new crimps from work, but ended up cutting and soldering instead. |

Well she's finally together and ready to rock. So far I can't be happier with how it looks and feels. Can't wait to see how it preforms tomorrow!! The front axle turned out sweet and really balances out the rig nicely, I was able to shed some serious weight with everything combined. I even picked up some aluminum red lock nuts just for kicks. Neal with Freq E Skins did a killer job on my wraps. It's so nice not having to paint anymore yet still have a killer looking rig! The wiring job turned out sweet, I shed alot of weight in just wire and still have tons more room inside. I'm at 5lbs 10oz RTR. I can shed the battery and the front lugs and hit the 4lb mark, but I think where I'm at the rig should preform great. It balanced out near perfectly. |
