Thank you guys. The rig got me a perfect score with 3 bonus gates today, I was doing good but I'm still having an electronics issue. I thought one of my esc was bad, but even with 2 new esc's my problem continue.

One or both ESC's act as if they are intermittently getting unplugged duing the course. If I stop steering and throttle response, they regain power, do the tone sequence and work for a few, then repeat the process.

Running CC BEC wired to the battery side of FXR on same post as battery leads, Both ESC's have the red wire out of the plug.... Any ideas?

Maybe try wiring the BEC straight to the servo and then plugging one of the fxr red wires back into the plug in the receiver. Thats how I run all of my crawlers.

Got the same problem in a XR10 (running the same wiring as you do), so i'm interested in a solution too.

BTW, perfect build

Greetings Frank

Thanks guys, I plan to tear into the rig late tonight but need to get everyones orders and some items packaged before its back to my own gear. This issue has haunted me for 2 comps now and its driving me bonkers.

I've seen servos with a dead short become troublesome for the rest of the rigs electronics, but the servo seems to be working fine, I have a nicked wire but don't see that being the issue. I'm hoping its an obvious fix like a loose solder joint, but pretty sure its not. I have a new servo to try, need to pick up a new bec still.

Thank you.

I'm kicking myself because I cannot get the problem to reoccur. I just ran 3 packs through the truck trying to get the components hot, I got it bond up, twisted everything I could. flipped it, rolled it, raced it etc... lol. Problem didn't re occur.

I dropped the skid and moved ever individual wire at my solder connections, receiver plug connections etc.. Nothing..

Scratching my head now.

Got the problem figured out and installing a clover designs rear axle tonight.

On a side note, got my rear cases done, 15grams lighter then stock and they slide so much better! Won't be running them at ECC as the tubes aren't finished but here's some pictures to stare at.

I had an AX-10 wired up with my bec run through rx and had the same problem. I wired it up to directly to my servo and have never had another issue.

When built my berg I wired it straight to servo again and it has been flawless.

Oh yeah and those cases are insane! I want some

Just installed the rear axle. Sitting at 5lbs 4oz RTR.

These tubes are great. Very happy with the rear fitment. I hated running the cut knuckles and lockouts as I still had an annoying amount of slop. I milled the tubes down, but even with that the Clover tubes saved me 30grams of weight and the rear has absolutely no slop.
