| V2 axle cvd binding
I am running v2 axles, installed a new cvd on the right side, stripped a gear in my 8711,installed a new 9000t ran 2 courses and servo started buzzing, end points were set, found that when full turn to the right or left the cvd pushes back on the servo, took another brand new one out of the package and assembled it every quarter turn it will bind, i do not see any burs anywere...looked at my old one and it does not bind at all...did i get defective parts or am i missing something? any help would be appreciated...

How long did it take to loosen up? it also took out both bearings before it took out the servo, kinda exspensive break in, i stuck the new outershaft into the old cup and it doesn't bind, gotta be the new cup..

yeah V2 CVD's suuuuuck. I bought a couple spares and then hit them with a needle file and emery cloth till they were smoother. What really sucks is when i first got my tracer and the the cvd kicked back and tore the ears off my servo.. Airtronics still doesnt have spare cases yet.. that was last Oct. |
