Thanks a ton Ryan. For both your gift certificate at ECC and working with me on these tires.

The only thing I would change, and this is probably just me would be to cut the top half off of all the lugs. I hate 'new' lug tires.

Are you shaving the internal ribbing at all?

Got my narrowed/shaved Sedonas from Ryan at East Coast RC today. Very nice work, A+ to deal with. So i mounted them up on the homebrew wheels i made. Boy i forgot how much tread a new Sedona has on them. lol Ill need to break them in. Looking forward to getting these out on the rocks

I have several different requests in this area. I shaved one tire how you see them in the single tire pic several posts up and confirmed with Bill that's what he wanted...so that's what he got I think depending on the wheel width and the foam setup that they would have performed very well and you probably wouldn't have had any issues with those lugs working against you. I like the idea of having those lugs on the edge to help when trying to grab vertical ledges...especially when working the steering back and forth.

I don't sand the ribbing unless the customer asks for it. It's not included in my pricing, but isn't all that much extra to have it done. It all boils down to the time involved. After building so many of the pin tires since the last set of narrowed Sedonas I was reminded that these are much more of a pain to build...the carcass on these tires are SUPER THIN As far as the ribbing goes that really depends on the customers past experience with Sedonas and whether they know if they want it or not. With the release of the closed cell inners the ribbing doensn't play as much of a role as it use to, but a lot of my customers still prefer to leave them in there.

Bill...thanks for posting the great pics with the decals too

As far as the lugs on the edges, i did trim them just a hair. Im sure its just personal preference. Since this was my first set of "custom" tires, i am learning as i go.
As far as the ribbing goes, i think Ryan is correct. My first set of sedonas that i shaved the sides, became too soft in the sidewall area. And didnt even sand the ribs on the inside. But when i bought the CI closed cell foams it firmed (sides)them up alot. With the closed cell inners it doesn't need the ribs sanded.
Thanks again Ryan, it s a pleasure doing business with you

Got our So. Fl State final tomorrow, really curious to see how the Narrowed Sedonas perform. I did break them in a little with the drill and traction board. I just wore them down a tiny bit. I want to get the feel for them before i decide if i want to take the lugs down any lower.
Unfortunately i have not had the opportunity to get out and test on real rocks. Life gets in the way sometimes. Just have to go for it tomorrow

The rig did real well this weekend. Got 3rd in our last So Fl State comp of the season, missed second by 4 points
My narrowed Sedonas did very well, thanks again Ryan The tires hooked up great, a little more breaking in and they will be perfect. The narrow track definitely got me past a couple of gates i would never of cleared with stock Sedonas. Didnt notice any excessive hop or anything like that. Really pleased with the tires. A few people were commenting on how well the tires were working

Truck performed well, if i didnt fall apart on 1 course i might of had a second place. Unfortunately we were dodging rain ALL day and i didnt get any 2.2 pics.

I think Stelerzman got some video. When he post that up, ill put a link up to it.
