So I was looking back at the hybrid chassis pics. How about those rear uppers? They look lower than the lowest "stock" position. Are they still one hole above where your fronts are now? And is that a hole below the lowest stock position or the same place but with a raised cab? does that make sense? |

![]() The rear uppers are lower (precisely one hole down) than the lowest stock position and yes they are still one above the fronts. The front uppers are two holes down from the lowest stock position without a raised cab.

Wow... you took it a little farther than I did with the XR. Any negatives to it so far?

Video from the Crawloff Courses 1-3 were all tight with the competition, but course 4 is where the truck pulled into the lead. Thanks to RolandRockshop for the video! ARCC course #1 NWARC course #2 NWARC course #3 ARCC course #4 Last edited by helhedded; 06-20-2012 at 08:20 AM. |

Looks great Ashton, hope you don't mind but I borrowed your idea with the upper link holes. I haven't got a chance to test it but it looks promising.

| ![]() I just cut new plates from delrin, I also made a set the has more rear clearance but decided to leave the lower link geometry stock and just moved the uppers. Thanks for the inspiration, I've always wanted to level out the rear links, just wasn't sure of the right way.

I still have my delrin ss, last night I drilled extra holes in it to see how it would turn out. Its a fine option if you don't already have links or if you don't mind a couple of mm difference in the axle position. You chose to use the Moon buggy chassis so you could put the holes where you could use the same uppers right? The truck looks like it flows very well in the vids ![]() |

Congrats Ashton ![]() I've done the same to my SS just not as extreme as yours and it really made a big difference. I guess I'll drill one more hole lower on both the front and rear. I used the SS plates, but just made up the difference with some trimmed jatos. Your truck looked dialed in the videos. ![]() ![]() |
