Its crazy! I was just really looking for something to keep me busy and mess around with. I was hesitant to even order the tires but I am glad I did!

You remove any of the internal ribbing on either JC tire style or does ribbing help said green compound? J |

Looks sweet. Tires look like there worken . Im on my 3rd set . Im runnin the scorpios narrowed and trimed every other lug. Also shaved the sidewalls . Really woke those scorpios up. I have noticed they like a firmer foam also.. anyway nice setup . When is it available.lol

The fronts feel perfect to me. Narrowed, 6.0 CI with full size soft outer. The rears are a bit tricky still working with them. I dont want to sand the sidewalls off or the inners off just yet. I think the biggest advantage by far is the height so I am milking that idea as much as I can by trying to not let the tire compress under the weight of the car. Obviously this is hurting my traction but I am trying to find out if I can simply let the lugs do the work instead. I tried running the rears (Scorpios) narrowed, 6.0 CI and full size medium outer. This is a super stiff setup with the full size medium outer. It has tons of height/reach but noticeably lacking in traction and for that reason, very little hop out of the rear. I think in a comp setting I could have left them and dealt with the lack of traction. Bounty hunting left some to be desired so I trimmed the lugs out. They were spot on in Wendover but that does not mean too much since everything with a lug works great out there. Here is my cut and wear. You can see they are wearing really well just like the fronts. I think these tires will get better for sure as aging continues. Maybe even a close to bald tire will work best? Thanks for the heads up on the Scorpios! I am definitely stoked on them right now. Thanks! | ||||

Like we talked before i peeled out my first set to 20% left right around there. They fkn killed it. With that said i have been running them front and rear . I know the ruptures work but like you i didnt want to give up on the scorpios. The balder they get the better they work. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk |

There is a guy in the tire section who took the 1.9 ruptures and turned them into 2.2. Looked very nice just havnt see and responce with him yet. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk |

I have commitment issues. I just cant get myself to shave tread off, especially with how fast they wear. Tgreer says he really likes his ruptures in the 1.9 flavor. |

Yes, I'm loving them! They have more bite than my voodoo pins. The rear now has more hop, but I'm going to give them more time and see if they settle down as they break in. I have a GTG Saturday and will post in my thread how it goes. |

Hey Erik, If you want to change the foams in your tires, how do you disassemble them without cutting the tire? Cheers, J |

I just take an exacto and put it between the bead and "wheel". Works better and faster than you might think. Probably faster than a beadlock?
