With the little crawl time I get...I should just send you mine and you can beat on them and send 'em back.

Great looking chassis Erik. Looks like the Double Agent 2.0 has some competition in the next-gen chassis game

Man, that would be a sweet deal!

When I very first started crawling, I would run my Sedonas for a couple weeks and then sell them as they were perfectly broke in but at the same time, I didnt want the cost associated with going through tires 1x/month. I could always sell them for more than new because people wanted broken in Sedonas.

For sure!

There are enough bad ass chassis out there these days that consumers should be really well taken care of.

Here are some stand alone pictures of the Bounty Hunter. I will put this chassis up for sale tomorrow and will start shipping them by Monday!

Ok, never mind.... rather than answer tons of messages about pricing and availability, I just put them on my site and they are ready to buy now!

Chassis looks killer!

Is that skid tapered or flat?

Ya man, I'm alive! Haha. School just got crazy for a while. But it's slowing down now and I've been missing the old crawler lately.

Are you still running the MIP bypass pistons in your shocks?

Obviously lots going on with this car lately. I just have not posted to take up anybodies time double posting. To sum it up, new FBA axle shafts and the missing link locker have gone in and I am loving them.

Lots and lots of driving over the last couple of weeks to test these parts and make sure they are up to snuff. I ended up breaking lots of random parts but one stuck out and surprised me. I have lots of miles on these little guys. Well made stuff IMO and I cant believe it broke. Everything breaks on a long enough time line though. I will have no issues putting a new set on.

I think it was just repeatedly binding the front end for days at a time? I just kept stuffing it and stuffing it.

I found it broke after a pretty gnarly climb. At first, I was super disappointed because I thought I broke a shaft at the joint. Pretty stoked when I saw what it was though. Hell, the shaft even made it all the way up the climb with it broken!

I feel like its been a really long time since we had a great technical discussion in RC crawling. I miss them.

Here is something I have thought about for a very long time. It might be looking too deep into the subject but then again, I think a lot of the time guys don't take any consideration into the weight they run and where they put it.

I have had some ideas in my head for a long time that I will post below. Once I took them out of my head, they seemed more simple and more complex at the same time. More simple as I think you could throw a blanket statement on it all and say "below the axle center line" and more complex as in " I think weight in this spot could help XXX even though its in the wrong spot". Since I like to be super nerdy about the technical side of this hobby, I would like to go further into it and see if I can get some others opinions and broaden our knowledge.

I like to run a lot of weight. This came about when I used to head out to National qualifiers and I would see Joel (Skaldiddog) out fun crawling. I have never been the best comp crawler but have always felt that I could hold my own in the fun crawling or bounty hunting. I cant tell you how many times Joel would pull a line, a tough line and then I would try to follow only to be denied. Not only denied but left behind trying the line over and over never to make it. This happened over and over and for years. Basically every single comp I ever went to with Joel.

Joel and I were then crawling at BOTW in 2013 and after handing my ass on yet another line (on my home turf!) he told me I need to load up the weight in the front. I chuckled and told him that I already run heavy, I run 6.5oz per side. (Keep in mind, at this time I was juggling between 4- 6.5oz as I never could find a sweet spot, nothing I ever really fell in love with, it all felt pretty much the same.) Joel then clarified that 6.5oz is not enough. He was talking over 8oz per side! After that comp, I went home, figured out how to load up to 8oz per side and went back out crawling. Now I could do all the lines that Joel was beating me up on and it was with relative ease where it was impossible just the week before. I was sold on heavy weight after that. One of the best mods I ever did to my car.

Now, after saying all that, I understand we all drive on different rock and different driving styles. I am not pushing that amount of weight on anybody and even I have locations locally that would really do better with almost no knuckle weight. So, I am just spreading some knowledge that I feel like I have whether or not it will work for you and your location is the question.
