Not sure if anybody is following along or not, but I do not recommend the Duratrax DTXC9182
bladders that I used, as they don't fit for sh!t. I have a couple different ones on order to try out...

Quick internet search stills shows them around, but not all over the place.
If the Traxxas or HPI ones I ordered don't work out I will track down some
of those, thanks!

Ended up putting the Traxxas bladders in them and no leaks so far.
Thrashed on them pretty good yesterday and they help up great!

Decided to make some 3/16" hybrid 7075/Gunnar body mounts.
I don't have a dope scale, but they are really light!

Well, the lil' ti-fi and I got our arse handed to us at BOTW15.
It wasn't the ti-fighters fault though, it was the nut behind the wheel!
Very grippy rock and cool courses. I ran two of them in the pouring rain
which was dumb I guess since the rain stopped shortly thereafter.
I didn't notice anything that needed to be changed really except my
wheelbase is a tad short, so I will work on that next...

Great to see you out there Chris! Car is really nice too!

I was a bit worried about you after seeing you drive your sporty. We all have bad days and I am sure you will do a lot better at the next one.

Thanks Erik!
I really need to work on time management. I think there were three courses that
I can name off where I had zero penalties and timed out between gate 9 and 10.
That combined with a few stupid lines that got me stuck in a hole or tumbling
down a hill makes for a long frustrating high scoring day... But I still had a blast!
At least I still got to bring home a sweet trophy tool holder!

I hope you know you just voided the warranty on that trophy

I would love to see what you guys do for using those trophies. If you can, post up some pics.

We all have bad Pro days Chris. Nuttin' but a thang. There is always next time. Looking at the rock in post #187...if that's your practice rock then the 10grit in Wendover was massive deviation from normal. You definitely had your Benzo dialed in on the drive home.

Thanks for the reminder Ryan, this definitely needs to be addressed soon!
Not sure if I should just add a set screw or come up with something trickier. Ideas?
Kinda like what I did here for a bearing retainer, but for the c-hub clocking.
Bummer part is it would surely do a number on the tube threads.

Hysol and call it done. Once I get the geometry on my WiFi done I'll do just that. For all of their beauty the Fighters have some serious shortcomings...but dammit they are cool!

Think plain 'ol 608 will hold or need something more exotic?
I am still planning on making a new set of wider tubes with splined ends...

I think so. I'd have to check my Wraith thread to be sure.

Still haven't found a real comfortable setup yet, but I will get there eventually.
Decided to run a set of Rovers on it yesterday and I could sure feel the hop
and pop from them that I haven't felt in a while while running pins.
It sure does look awesome with Ryan's body on there though!

Your truck is looking great Chris.

I still can't believe that BC parted with that lid....

Yeah, me either. I'll give it back to him if he wants it back.
I know it is an important part of BCPaints history.
