My dlux hall style berg rebuild 1 Attachment(s) So after beating this chassis for a year and a half i figured it was time to give her a face lift. The old Hall Style here is made from Lexan. With the new chassis going on this build i picked up some new electronics to go with it. This time around i decided to put micro sidewinders instead of FXR's. Here is a picture of the old chassis to compair to the new version of the best chassis made. The chassis is built by John Hall. |

Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild [QUOTE=stubs179;3635433]Look at that! Spare no expense. Why did you go to sidewinders? I went with the micros for a couple reasons. One reason was to try something new and i heard they provided a better drag break. Another reason was because they cost at least $45 less than a FXR. Quote:

Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 1 Attachment(s) So i decided to go with a different skid for this chassis compaired to the last one. In the picture u can see the old skid on the left and the new on the right. |
Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 2 Attachment(s) Making some progress its now a roller. Everything is going together great. This time around im mounting the upper links to the outside of the chassis instead of on the inside. Still need to work on the upper link length a little i think but all and all it seems nice and smooth. |

Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 4 Attachment(s) Had to put the build in high gear in order to get some practice in before our comp this weekend. So here are a few pics of the new and old electronics and one of them in the car. Between the new reciever and the new esc's i lost just under an ounce of weight. |
Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 3 Attachment(s) I wanted to do something different in the front and rear of the chassis just in front of the front shocks and just to the rear of the rear shocks. So with the help from john hall wecame up with these bulk heads to add strength and a cool scale comp buggy look. |
Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 2 Attachment(s) I got some white wheel faces from Mr.DLUX and this what happened when the engraver and some rit dye came together. |
Re: My dlux hall style berg rebuild 4 Attachment(s) And here she is all complete enough to get some practice in. Not to hip how the red turned out on the panels. Have to get a different color red next time. What do you guys think. |
