My dlux hall style berg rebuild

1 Attachment(s)
So after beating this chassis for a year and a half i figured it was time to give her a face lift. The old Hall Style here is made from Lexan. With the new chassis going on this build i picked up some new electronics to go with it. This time around i decided to put micro sidewinders instead of FXR's. Here is a picture of the old chassis to compair to the new version of the best chassis made. The chassis is built by John Hall.

[QUOTE=stubs179;3635433]Look at that! Spare no expense. Why did you go to sidewinders?

I went with the micros for a couple reasons. One reason was to try something new and i heard they provided a better drag break. Another reason was because they cost at least $45 less than a FXR.

Making some progress its now a roller. Everything is going together great. This time around im mounting the upper links to the outside of the chassis instead of on the inside. Still need to work on the upper link length a little i think but all and all it seems nice and smooth.

Nice! Looks like your doing more than a rebuild. Youre really cleaning this thing up.

Had to put the build in high gear in order to get some practice in before our comp this weekend. So here are a few pics of the new and old electronics and one of them in the car. Between the new reciever and the new esc's i lost just under an ounce of weight.

I wanted to do something different in the front and rear of the chassis just in front of the front shocks and just to the rear of the rear shocks. So with the help from john hall wecame up with these bulk heads to add strength and a cool scale comp buggy look.
