Been a long time coming but pics and details on the way and at the same time chassis are getting built for team drivers... things are going to get interesting real soon as the Bergsta gets a new lease on life! Cheers Dan |

Well used brOOd stubbies... :( Just before giving them a full reco Some of what i kept cleaned ready for reworking Some of you will remember the berg gears i machined.. they are now in retirement The replacements rcbros (William might remember how long ago i bought these, been sitting here the whole time) In with teflon grease And the axles ready for a new life/chassis I also made some new link mounts (testing has been fun, i managed to snap a Ti screw but mount is still holding great) Last edited by Hulksta; 01-07-2015 at 06:23 AM. |

They are coated with gun bluing, so touching them up is fairly easy.....a light coat of oil every so often keeps the rust off. I think you need a pair of Nexus for this rebuild Later EddieO |

Cheers Dave! Yeah we do alot of coastal crawling so sadly takes its toll on things... this set of stubbies have been to hell and back, the power/speed is great for jumping rocks yet smooth down low... i managed to take out two local championships with these motors in 2013 then took a break over 2014. Yes EddieO! Ive been drooling over the new motors and will be in touch very soon as get some funds plus this new chassis deserves a special motor Cheers Dan Last edited by Hulksta; 01-07-2015 at 09:26 PM. |

Ok enough with the teasing i guess Over the last 12months this chassis has transformed though v1, v2 and the now final v3... It was an idea ive had for a long time but it took alot of design work and smart thinking to get it to work, three key things i wanted 1.limited trade offs for the feature in the chassis 2.must operate fast and easy for comps to make best use of the feature 3.must take a beating! And i must say that im really wrapped with the outcome Now before i get to the final design I'll shoot up some pics ive taken along the way with the first lot of proto's.... |

And this is the final I present the Riddler.... Now if you havent already worked it out the chassis uses a 5th shock in the centre, the way it works is as the chassis bellys up on rocks the weight of the axles drop the front end allowing extra clearance When i first thought of this i was thinking of using a servo but it adds more weight and an extra control the user would need to operate.. with this it works and you just need to drive and worry about the win! |

The rocks looks kinda like the same place we here in Norway have to crawl on,,great to crawl down by the sea,,, lots off great places... And I must say that riddler chassis looks great to.. Looks like people think alot on the chassis these days,, have gotten some pretty awsome chassises the last years.. I think about the SUDU Pro,, Remedy 3.5,, Reptile,,executioner and now youre riddler... |
