Ya, I couldn't get it to work good super lite. I was a set of light motors away from going under 3lbs. I'm back up around 4lbs now and all knuckle weight. It works SO much better for me. Being lights cool but having a rig that works is so much better. Not saying that some guys don't have the light weight rigs working for them. It's just a, "To each their own." deal.

IMO, there is still the very important principal of weight in the right places. I still dont think many get that.

You dont want to have a 5.5lb rig, take off heavy wheels and add CF wheels so now your under 5lb but the weight just shifted to the wrong spot. Instead of jumping straight to the wheels, take 5oz off the heavy chassis/shocks/motors/battery or whatever.

Me, ideally I want a .01g rig with about 4.5lb of knuckle weight/rear weight

My thoughts exactly. All the light goodies aren't necessarily to end up with a light rig. They are best used to get the CG lower.

This guy knows what he's talking about. It took him a while to convince me that FUF rigs are where it's at.

Rumor has it that FUF 4.5 lb rigs work.
