Well after getting things wrapped up on Ben's(superduty03) rig I thought the Chumper needed some love before our 2013 points series season opener I ended up making new chassis braces with some tiny aluminum tube that 4xford gave me for my v4 at ECC. Way better than the delrin Thanks brother! I also decided to go from 30 weight all the way around to 27.5 in the rear and 22.5 in the front. Lastly I figured I would pull out these white dot rovers and sipe the shit out of them. Running 1" wide Y-Town cf wheels and C.I. foams. Rig is coming in at 4 pounds 5 oz, yah it's a porker. Hoping to see my 300's soon so I can do the swap and do my 3/16 al uppers. On to a couple pics.

I'm also running some new packs this weekend, Max Amps 4 cell 430 mah they claim true 100c All I know is they pack one hell of a punch even if there not 100c. They are quite a bit smaller than my other 4 cells also.

I am on the fence about 4S or 3S. I talked to a couple people and basically I am pulling so much amperage from them, it is almost as if I am dead shorting the 850 mAh packs I have.
The packs get warm, and puff, we have swelled cells. I switched the XR10 to 900 mAh Hyperion or 1000 mAh Elite packs and haven't puffed one of those yet. Even with multiple charges in a short time frame.
The new rig has a smaller area for a battery, so the 900s and 1000s don't fit. Was thinking about going to 4s and a little lower on the mAh of the pack to see if they live.
I upgraded the cap on the FXRs and am using my older motors (not quite as wicked), so 4s may be the way to go.
I wouldn't mind picking both of your brains on what you think and how the 4s worked for you. I know the wheel speed is insane and when one of the guys in STL tried it, he limited his throttle to 80% so he didn't destroy the gears in his XR10...
