Chassis turned out fantastic

Is the tail section of the cab plats gonna pinch in to the shock support or stay spaced out?

Thanks Travis.

The tail will be slightly spaced out, this should reduce flex I think.

The chassis is a mix of 1mm and 2mm cf, I was concerned about flex, but everything feels stiff and light.

In terms of strength the only parts that may fail I think is the front shock mount but at this point it feels stiff enough and will be even more with the shocks bolted on I guess.

Thanks Pete I appreciate.

Chassis weight with ALL hardware, just missing panels. I had to beat you

47g - 1.7 oz, I'll try to keep it under 2 oz with panel.

These pics looks better with the green background.

Also I wanted to know how much my electronic package was weightin.

Thanks Jeremy

At first the Motor Master wasn't reading rpm so I thought the sensor unit on the board was busted but I tried to glue some shiny strip of aluminum on the rpm bushing and it started working again. But readings are not consistent so I started to look for a spare bushing on the web and they're all out of stock, I finally an Orion bushing witch looks to be same and they're sold in pair

Very nice build! I love how your servo is re-wired... Is that a thicker gauge or was it just a repair?

Awesome news

Well the chassis broke after a small fall straight on the roof. I've updated my design and added more material around the holes and I'll make the cab out of 1.5mm cf this time. Should be one week or two before I put my hand on it.

The chassis will gain 5 to 7g but I'll make some cf crossbrace ala Dr Frank, maybe they will be lighter than 3/16'' al tube.

Right now rtr with 6.6oz worth of brass on the front axles my truck is weightin approx 3.8 lbs

Looks good. I would think if the inner/lower part of the chassis came forward to the front shock mount. it would add alot of strength, without much weight.

I'm just waiting on 3mm threaded inserts from Dr Frank to make cf braces for my Secret Agent also. Truck looks great btw Alex.
