Default Berg axle upgrades

Ok got bitten by the crawling bug again built an xr 10 its ok, and now want a berg had one sold it 6 months ago and now I'm kicking myself but...I'm worried about parts and trying to get them!!! Read a lot of built threads and seem like parts are hard to come by? Axles for one are hard to find I want v1 tcs only has kits and not sure if its a v1 or v2? dlux or rc bros Super 300 or vanquish vvds? Derlin, aluim tubes or both? So many axle combinations maybe some of you helpful berg owners can post some of your axle upgrades and availability so it's easier for people getting back into it and newbies to decide what route to take

Thanks j

I had V1's with vp 8degree VP knuckles and chubs and D_Lux Delrin axle tubes , servo mount , upper link mounts , shaved cases , lightened gears , bigger gear pin upgrade and rear axle shaft all from D_Lux and super 300's in the front with RcBros lockers front and rear. Very nice set-up

Yes Erik is a awesome vendor/person to deal with always is willing to help out in any way. I live on the east coast and always get my stuff from him in 2 days. The RcBros locker should be available just pm them I just got mine a couple of months ago.

I agree with these guys. Buying everything DLUX makes for the berg is a must.

I'm also east coast and run Erik's tubes, servo mount, lockouts, bully-berg conversion, knuckle weights, link mounts and the gear box cover. He built them for me and relocated the motor for the servo mount. A great dude to deal with and as mentioned, has everything to you in days. I just received his wheels today and they are top notch!!

I cut Titanium rear axle shafts for the Berg in standard and lightweight versions , they work well iwth all the above items listed.

Cool getting some info rolling what's everyone doing for cvds? 300? Axail chubs and wraith knuckles can you use axail cvds modified? Does vanquish make some seen someone using vanquish? Some are using bully knuckles modded but doing that u can't use knuckle weights right?

When you use the bully knuckles, you are most likely then using the modded super bully shafts. They are beefy for sure and plenty of throw. Erik makes a bully knuckle weight as well.

And for my final dlux pitch, please see dlux berg options to see his new plastic gearbox and gear options. It's great to be getting new options. I'm not the only guy to have ----$ invested in my trucks. To save hundreds and potentially get the same result.... no brainer!!
