What turn motors are you running. Also your tire diameter. Wieght of rig. Just tryin to get an idea of how hard the plastic gears are working

70t motor on 3s, 6.5 inch tire that's a pretty light setup (6-7 oz a tire I believe), 6lb rig. Plastic gears in the rear only.
This is the rig

Thanks man, now we know it can handle torque from a 70t motor and 6.5 tall tires. Thanks for the info man.

either way, i think hes putting more stress on those gears than we should with our 4 lb rigs... im worried about how well they'll hold up when the truck gets upside down and you have to hammer the throttle back and forth over and over till she rolls back on all fours i feel like thats when teeth might start flying off. i hope not tho

I imagine that's where they'll fail as well. I only did that a couple times yesterday, so it's hard to tell yet. I'll run a couple more packs through it and inspect.

I tried to put my berg gears into my MT cases tonight. I followed the directions and all that but I cant seem to get it right. With both adapters and the only 2 bearings that fit em on the not motor side of the case the 3rd gear will slide back and forth in the Larger gear it sits in. Also because of this the bearing on the side of the 3rd rides against the 4th. Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? I will try to get a pic posted up.

Can you show the opposite of what you have in that pic? Put all the gears in the motor side and show that

The 3rd gear can walk back in forth as well.

Have you tried to put the case together yet, or just putting the gears in one side?

Yep. Tried that. The 3rd and the larger gear it sits in can walk back and fourth inside the case. Or if I swap bearings around its way tight when I bolt case together. I should have the mt 3rd soon, and ill try all mt with berg 4th.

Looks like I screwed up on my measurements.

I made some extra pieces and modified the small 3rd adapter. You will also have to modify the case a bit, nothing too serious and nothing that will make it so that you cannot switch back and forth to the MT stuff.

It also looks like you will not be able to get 100% gear engagement. You wont be lacking much, about .3 or .4mm.

I think I know everybody who bought the adapters so far. I will get the fix out on Monday. Until I hear back, I will make them so they are out of stock.

No worries. I am glad to do my part. Big thanks to you guys who are jumping right in and being "testers".

Its an odd situation where its not my parts and I dont stand to make much if any money off of it so we all need to work together to get something working.
