Default BOOSTED's 2014 build The 5th Dimension: MKII begins:pg 11

Picked up this rig a couple weeks ago from Peewee, ran it a couple times.
Just got back for. The West Coast Shootout and while I was out there I noticed a few things that needed improvement, and I few thing I wanted to change. Overall the rig did what I asked it to, most errors made were driver errors.

First change will be chassis'
I snagged this chassis from Anthony (yotachump) as well as a few other parts

Next will be rear tubes I picked these up from rcbros and the fit and finish is topnotch. The link mounts actually "snap" onto the tubes the tolerances are very tight, and VERY well done. Thanks again William

Looks like you'll need some new lower links home skillet.

You know where I am if you need anything to help get this rig finished up.

Looking forward to seeing you get this one finished up and kicking ass in the comp scene.

I miss you already

I'll be watching this thread... I'm looking for a RT Chump chassis myself so build this right so I can copy it. I think you should keep the old chassis and sell me the RT Chump.

I plan on it. Work is crazy right now, but ill try and work on it as much as I can.
My mindset right now is f@ck the lightweight shit, I likes muh bergs around 5.5lbs so I'm ditching the carbon wheels going with SLWs, gonna hit up chaotic for some links, and hopefully rcbros front tubes will be available soon. Ill do some rearranging of the electronics but not much after that. This rig is stout as is and I can say I wasnt very impressed with the super light rigs this last weekend.

I got the rear tubes drilled and tapped today before I got called to work so I didn't get a chance to take a pic, also got some slw v3's in the way.

Michelle from Krawler Konceptz finished these up tonight for the new Parma body can't fuggin wait to put these on! Too notch job and the communication and design process was excellent! I will be doing a matching set on my radio and sportsman.

East bound and down loaded up and truckin.....

You don't need to have a light weight rig, but make sure you pay close attention to where your weight is coming from.
The lighter the chassis package means you cAn add the weight to the axles where you want it.

It's the little details that will really pay off for you in the long run.

Lets do some 1/8" uppers when we do links.

Those skins look good man.

I look forward to seeing it(and you) in person soon.

Yep. I plan on getting what weight I can low and finding that happy medium. I've already swapped the chassis and tossed on some losi gold springs, and holy crap the difference in the 2 is nuts!
