The twin IS without question a better radio and has many more options/features but the learning curve is so intense that it easily becomes such a horrible choice. For somebody like you Joel, I think it is the next step. Just dont hang around anybody that has one or dont drive one more than you have, it becomes more tempting!

Do it! It only takes like 4 years to get the hang of it...no big deal.

Start with a super. After that...2.2 is a joke

I got a Contour ROAM2 for my b-day and got my first video. This thing is pretty cool!

I need to work on the setting as the video is not near as clear as it could be. It's on all stock settings right now. And 720p.

He needs a push button. Best thing I have done to my sticks yet.

Thanks! I like the click, click, click! Especially in a super tech section where it's click, click, click, click, click, click, etc! Haha

It's really cool. I like the profile much better than the gopro. I made a cool little mount for my radio so I can film while driving and as long as the rado is in the right direction I'm good.

Happy birthday buddy. I actually just picked up a Contour+2 last week. They are cool little cameras for sure.

I was thinking the head mount would be better since I am always looking at the car but I dont know if my radio is always pointed?

Does that camera take still shots well?

I'm not sure how the head mount would work because you would be looking down on the truck. It being on the radio puts it about 2' lower. I want to make a different mount because I have to hold the radio kinda goofy sometimes.

I actually have an older HD contour and like it way more than the gopro in terms of its shape and size. I use it all the time for MTB rides and Road Rides. It fits much more compactly on a hat or helmet. I don't know however if the newer models take stills. Mine does not.

It says it does but I haven't tried it yet.

You can get some cool mounts from this place. Camera Mounts - Video Camera Mounts - RAM Mount

The ram mounts are a pretty slick setup. If you order contour's mounts, try going through Amazon. I got the bike mount kiut breand new from contour (through Amazon) for about half the retial price.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...untour%20mount

Contour has a "flex strap' mount that might serve well for an easily removeable TX mount. The large one may fit around your twin sticks and you could possibly hang it off the bottom., or even just wrist mount it. They also have some baseball cap snap mount and some various head straps.

Since it has a !70* wide angle lens, erik probably could just strap it to his head and still have it in frame even if it isn't pointed directly a the truck.

Here's how I plan to use the flex strap on my MT4.

I plan to use mostly a tripod for stationary shots though, but such a simple, non-permanent tx mount seems to be of good benefit.

I have been waiting on a castlelink to get my micro sidewinders in. I finally got it the other day. I am not sure if i like the placement of the esc's but I wanted to mount the battery on the battery mount (because the mount rocks) and I've never liked it on the axle. It's such a pain to keep it from rubbing on the tire and it gets hammered by rocks. It's much safer and out of the way behind the motor.

I've also been messing with some camera mount and I think this is the best angle so far. Time will tell. I had it on the top one but I didn't realize how level I hold my radio so I didn't work out so well.

Where are all youre elec at? On top of the battery mount?

I think I need a camera mount like that. I think I would like one that hooks to the "bar" on the radio though?

Behind the servo. I need one of the little receivers because all I have now is the one that comes with the radio. It is on top of the motor right now.

Ya, the mounts a little bulky but it works good.

That's a really sweet mount actually. I seem to nudge my pistol mount a bit too far on occasion and shit ends up out of picture. I'm not too keen on the head mount since you tend to get a lot of footage of your feet when you navigate the area.
