Oh ya. I ran a bunch of lines with my rovers then switched to the raptures and it was night and day. The main thing I didn't like was they let go very abruptly where the rovers are much more gradual about loosing traction.

They sure work for Erik, but then again sometimes I think he could make Nikko tires work...

I think it has a lot to do with the way the tires have been narrowed. While I haven't noticed quite yet in my trials. With the way we've narrowed them we actually clocked the treds to match up into "paddle" configuration. Which is not at all like the rover, but the OG treds might be a little closer to the rover. I'll have to investigate that with the next set I narrow up

Are you still playing with softer shock oils? You should check out the ultra soft springs. | |

I have always know the Ruptures were not up to par with the Rover/Sedona. I just didnt know and didnt want to know how bad they were so I kept driving on them so I could get used to them. Its not a problem when you fun crawl by yourself but then when you crawl with somebody else that hands you ass, you have to adjust. I need a narrow and tall tire for comps. Sedonas and Rovers just dont work for me in the comp scene. I will be keeping the Rupture for comps but there is just no way I can go back to them for fun crawling. I do have to say, going back to Rovers/Sedonas this weekend has brought a MAJOR vote of confidence back into my car. Its like I have been driving a pile of crap for a long time. It felt like a champ this weekend! |

| Re: Stubs **Dlux axle** superlite Yeah. I think the Blue dot Rovers are great. They will really shine when the weather warms up and hits over 90*. Maybe keep the White dot for cold and Blue for warm? Either way, I am all set on Rovers for a long time! |

Thanks again Stubbs and Erik D. For helping me at BOTW. I learned a whole lot about the comp crawl scene. Looking forward to more of such.

Small update but I've had the same tierod since I got these axles to test years ago and it just didn't fit in the normal location so I had to run it super high. Well, Erik couldn't stand to look at it so he sent me home from Wendover with a spare straight tierod. I finally got around to installing it and it's great. It clears everything and doesn't stick way up! |
