Well, Its been a long time since an update. I have started running full width un-modded silver Pins pretty much all the time. I'm running IC 6" soft standard front and medium comp cuts in the rear. This setup seams to be very consistent and the right amount of traction.

After over 10 yrs of crawling it is nice to finally be on the Podium consistently. My car is super reliable with all the Dlux parts and super smooth Brood motor. I couldn't be happier with it.
2nd at the AZ shootout and 2nd at Best of the West last weekend. i'm stoked.

Yeah, no more knuckle weights and throw a bunch of weights back in the wheels

Don't be stupid.

That only works if you use BEEEEEEEEEEEF TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBES in conjunction with 3 oz of weight in the wheels. My ultra secret cutting edge tech simulation program on my commodore 64 told me so.

To this day i have never comped with a narrowed tire. That was actually my first comp with pin tires. My car is 4.4 lbs with about 6 oz of knuckle weight per side. Its funny how things change but my car has been pretty much the same since around 2012. It just works too good and im afraid to change anything.

Mostly scaling (TTC and U4/5k stuff) lately. I have been working on a portal'd shafty, most of the new baller parts should be here next week. Here's what it looks like at the moment:

So, been having fun testing this lately. It’s feels good to looking at a body again. It’s not something I’ll be sticking with but I always wanted to try one and Nabil said I could borrow it so I couldn’t pass it up. Im having issues with the front tires rubbing the lower links bad which is weird because the tires don’t turn any sharper. I think a new set of lowers with a substantial bend would solve this but I don’t want to spend the money on it.

I don't know what's bigger... Your pics or your tires...!
Why do you have to be such a non-conformist?
Outdated chassis, full size tires, battery hanging off of upper links, clamping servo arm...
Like I told Matt on my thread... Welcome back to 2009..!
And you still whoop ass on everybody else out there!

You don’t like my full size un-modded pins? Haha. I don’t even do anything to the foam either. I run regular glue on wheels in the back because I’m to lazy to hollow out the foam. Only use the loaded dice wheels in the front.

Oh I do, I just don't see how you do it.
I have seen both you and J-Rock just flat out kill it with those marshmallows.
And I keep narrowing mine like a dumbass.
