Well since my cases on the tube boss have a radius where it meets the case, you have to put a small bevel on the inside diameter of the tube to fit nice and tight.......

not a great picture, but I think you can tell that it does not have a sharp edge any more........

LOL....I was thinking just one ESC...

Thanx Doug.....

Link mounts were a PIA......
used a 6mm BH screw and still had to use a small washer to keep it from dragging on the axles

Couldn't you just shorten the screw? Plus your hardware doesn't match. Chump would not approve!

Well yea I guess I could, but then I would have to grind them a bit, and then the raw steel gets exposed and in turn it rusts faster......

and that hardware is just for mock up, it gets tossed into a bag and I use new ones to put it back together........

Maybe the finished product he would........

Didn't factor in rusting. Come to think of it Chump probably wouldn't approve of shortening hardware anyways. Carry on...

that's too funny......

here they all match....

and squared up the upper link mount where the front mounting hole is to make sure my servo has enough room.....

also you have to really round off the back lower corner so the motor clears........

Front axle mocked up with plastic XR C's and scx 8* knuckles....

the front 2 holes on the knuckles will most likely get cut off and new ones drilles and tapped.........

still waiting on my VP C's.....

Did you file the plastic Cs to fit the knucs?
I figured out how I can hold the Cs for milling.

Ok so I could not wait for the XR C's to get off back order..

so I picked up some SCX C's to go with my knuckles.......

had to whittle off ALL of the spline off the tubes to fit the C"s.....
also got a bit more done on mock up.....

C's will get held on by 2 4mm set screws, one with the pin on it , gets a hole in the tube to keep it from ever turning on the tube , the other will just keep it in place...........

Oh, and link mounts are in a far different place than im use too...

might need a few RC bro link mounts...

Mike, I have some Wraith scale chubs you can use for mock up.
But you can't file them.
I'll check tomorrow for some other chubs I might have.
