| V3 Axles only or Tracer kit?
considering getting a v3 Berg, should i get the kit and just use it for awhile or get just the v3 axles and build from it? thought the V3 would save me from buying hopups for a stock V1 (cvd, clock, etc.). the Tracer kits looks tempting though as it's got a lot of stuff i would need to buy if i go for axles only (servo mount, steering links, rear upper link mounts, etc.). i am so confused!!!

Neither. Buy yerself a supporting green star & watch the classifieds for a set of V1's or if yer budget allows...a RTR or roller. The Tracer is an obsolete design by todays standards & really wasn't that great 3 years ago. It had some cool points but for the most part, was inferior to a 4 link setup. V1 axles are your best bet BECAUSE of the aftermarket support. With the new Dlux axles hitting the scene...you may find a set on the cheap. Do some research here. This place will OVERFLOW yer melon with knowledge. J.D. |
