Default Changes to Dlux tubes

After working on the Superlite axles I was able to figure out some changes to make to my regular tubes for the better

* All tubes will now bolt up to Berg, HR or the Mad Torque gear boxes (MT needs holes drilled)

* Tubes are now much lighter. 39g front, 36g rear

* Rear lockouts have significantly reduced in size and weight. Because of this, I can only confirm that the 7075 DLUX shafts will work. Others may still work but I am not sure.

* The flanges have significantly reduced in size. This means less weight and also much more clearance.

* For a while now, the front tube has been notched and a servo mount is installed before being shipped.

Tiny lockouts

36g rear

39g front

How about adding the option to spline the front tubes?

Doing these myself, I am not sure how I would do that. I will put some thought into it though.

I am pretty sure CTBM used to just heat his chub up and press it into the delrin. My tubes are so tight that you could do this if you wanted.

Yeah...I think it's a good option as long as you can get a set of Axial Universals modified to fit or purchase a set of the 300HD's.

Its actually not much longer. Prototypes should be shipped tomorrow (done now) and after that, I would actually make them for anybody as long as they take the risk that they might not last 5 seconds. If they dont want to take the risk they will be about 3 months out when they are proven. To give an idea of the strength, I have been running the similar version in my super with success.

I hear that mustang! Erik is responsible for 99 percent of my rig. He'd prefer if I bugged him less but he has taught me just about everything I know! These new lockouts are sweet and I'm already checking the cushions of my sofa for the " next dlux build". Dlux carbon axles are already on my Christmas list . Thanks again Erik. Gonna do my best to leave ya alone for a few weeks. Haha! I do need advise on pinions tho.. Lol! Great to see the constant flo of innovative parts.

Dont be too sure about that! You need to remember my life obsession is RC crawling right now so talking about it is not too bad, I actually enjoy it.
