I've run a V1 and V2 viper. They really aren't that bad to make links for. Pretty straight forward. My guess is you are looking for Titanium links, correct? I'll have to check when I get home, but I might have a used V2 that I would be willing to sell... |

If you ever need anything or have a question, you should ask me directly. PM or email works best. I am not sure of the differences between a V1 and a V2. I will see if I can figure out what the difference is in links. |

The V1 links need to be a few mm shorter to work with the V2 so you would need a set of V2 links that are a little longer. You could either have someone like Erik build them that way, or use different rod ends to gain length where needed. I've also seen some guys use the links offered by Crawler Innovations since they are easy for most people to modify themselves without many tools. |

DT is a huge help with viper stuff. Erik is more than capable of getting the links done right. He does all of my links.

Thanks Ryan If I recall I cut about 3mm of threads (1.5mm per side off of the front links) off of my Viper Links for my Viper II. So Viper 2 links with the rod ends twisted out 1.5 turns from fully screwed on will work just fine. If you don't, I do! In a few different flavors from early prototypes, to production, to the Viper Lite (full CF - 52 grams with all alu hardware except links which I used SS) Last edited by DickyT; 05-15-2013 at 02:08 PM. | |
