Default setting your c's

anyone have a tip or tool for setting the angle on c's evenly between both sides? old school protractor?

1. use 2 objects that are the same height. (parts boxes, cigarette packs, machinist blocks, etc)

2. set the chubs flat on object

3. rotate gear box to desired angle

4. drill and install

Eyeball it while doing the following:

1 use 2 objects that are the same height. (parts boxes, cigarette packs, machinist blocks, etc)

2. set the chubs flat on object

3. rotate gear box to desired angle

4. drill and install

I use 3mm grub screws to set them

I drilled and tapped the c-hubs to 3mm clocked them to where I was comfortable and tightened down the grub screws with blue lock-tite,put a sharp end on the grub screw also ao it will set itself in the aluminum or plastic
