Default Beerman's RcBros Berg build (update on page 7)

Today we had a wet and soggy comp. I have a short video clip of the course I built. The clip shows gate 9 and the two bonuses before gate 10. On the first bonuse I was one of two pro trucks to do it. On the second bonuse I was the only one to do it for the day.

Here are a few pictures to show how wet the crawlers and the controllers are. If you look at the 4PK it looks like a water drop running down the screen but the funny part is the water drop is inside the screen.

Your the first to comment on my slicks. Here soon I will post a picture to show how bald they really are.

How do you make Polish axels? Listen to "Beer Barrel Polka" and eat Pierogi's while working on them?

I received my order from Everett, some Ti shock shafts. I will try and get them install over the next few days. I will also get some pictures posted of the weight difference between stock and the Ti shafts.

I got the new shock shafts installed and the fit was great. I have about 10 packs on them and no leaking. They weigh 3 grams less then stock. Want to thank Everett for getting me these.

I went ahead and cut me up some new tires. I went with the gold dots again. I was really happy with my last tires as you can see by how worn-out they are. This time around I did narrow the tire ever so slightly more than the last ones. Also showing a picture of my foam set up. It's a 6 inch close cell foam with the comp cut coming from my bench grinder. I use soft outers front and rear. In the foam picture the front foam are on the left and rear foam on the right.

We are using very similar setups on the foams now except your front inners look like they are 5.5's or cut down 6.0's. Mine are so squishy compared to how they were before. I can't wait to get them on some real rock as well as see how my new wheels hold up.

It will be weird seeing your rig without slicks

The picture I took does make the front foam look smaller then the rear but its not. I do beleive the front foam is more broken down then the rear and that could be part of it. The next time I get foams Im going to try the 5.5 comp cut.

I feel weird for saying this but I was out crawling today and I can't believe how well my new tires are hooking up over my bald ones. I will never let my tires wear out so bad without replacing them.
