A week ago we wrapped up our 2013-2014 series for ORCRC(Oregon). Proud to say that I took first place overall and got my first national invite. Because of my job I won't be able to make it, but hey at least I did earn an invite. It came down to the last course of the series, that's how tight it was. Took a few shots of the rig out crawling today. |

| Beerman's RcBros Berg build (update on page 7) Thanks Will. One thing I ask is make sure the 2.2pro trophy is bigger than the 2.2s trophy. So for once I can tell Tom that mine is bigger than yours Last edited by Beerman Crawler; 07-02-2014 at 05:37 PM. |

My lower links were getting pretty beat up. The front and rear lowers both were bent and tweaked out of alignment. The driver side was a quarter inch shorter then the passenger side. Tom came to the rescue and made new lower links, I sure do appreciate it. I'm also playing with the length of the front upper links. I made the front upper links about 7 mm longer and so far I really love it. After about another week of driving and I'm still happy I want to have Tom make me some carbon fiber front upper links. I absolutely love the stance of the crawler, it looks really nice. Tom did a great job with the links, again Tom thanks for all your hard work. With out you I couldn't beat you . |

Today it was over 90 degrees in Oregon that doesn't happen often except for this summer for some reason. For the first time I had to sit and wait for my crawler to cool down. I feel so sorry for the guys that live in California and Arizona, how do you guys ever crawl during the summer. |

How are the new "bearings" working so far?

We survive just fine. And we crawl all fall winter and spring.

| The new bearings have been working great. Last week I took the front case apart to take a look and they look fine. I probably have 50-60 packs through them. They fit really tight and they don't fall out of the cases like the normal bearings do. The gears make a really nice snap sound when you insert them in the bearings. For the graham counters out there they weigh half the amount of a normal bearing. Last edited by Beerman Crawler; 11-03-2014 at 04:47 PM. |

Wow it's been a long time since I've done an update. The reason for it is there's not much to update. My main focus has been dialing in the geometry along with the shocks. I really believe that the geometry is dialed in and the geometry is super neutral. I didn't take measurements but I internally and externally limit the front and rear shocks. The rear shocks have a little more internal and external limiting. The fine-tuning of the shocks has greatly improved the stance of the crawler. Over the next day or two I'll try to take a picture of the stance. About two month ago I took a picture of my crawler with the first place Oregon State championship trophy Last edited by Beerman Crawler; 11-03-2014 at 04:44 PM. |

Us Oregon guys got treated to a great day of sunshine for our comp yesterday. On top of that we had a good turn out. My crawler worked flawless the whole day. I think though four courses I was upside down twice, that's huge for me. I'm really loving my RcBro executioner chassis, the set up just works for me. It picked me up another win. I received my RcBro CF wheels and I can't wait to mount them up this week. I'm so happy to finally have CF wheels. Brad snapped this photo from the comp yesterday. |

Every now and then Tom picks me up a sweet little tool. A few months back he pick me up a 5.5 mm Snap On wrench. Last few months I haven't really needed to work on my crawler. So this weekend I decided to work on some of the deferred maintenance. I got to use my wrench for the first time and boy was it nice. No more pliers scratching my aluminum hardware. It also reaches the hard to reach places really well. |

Spent sometime today getting my RcBro CF wheels mounted up. I can't believe I was able to pick those up for 100$, they are top quality. I took some weight measurements in grams for the wheels. The first picture is my 1" SLW, than the second picture is the RcBro wheel. The weight measurement of the crawler is in lbs. It came out to 3lbs 8 ounces. I have a total of 6 ounces of knuckle weight. Last edited by Beerman Crawler; 04-19-2015 at 07:11 PM. |
