Default Plan B

SNIPERS FAB SHOP
presents
PLAN B

I have been up late nights in the shop, my brain has been working some overtime.

So I came up with some new ideas.
Nothing new here, plain old berg case, a little machine work to lighten it up a bit.
Thanks CD13 for the cases.

After machining

Then I made some delrin collars to mount the tubes to the case.

Chopped down a Wraith axle tube to fit the collar

Short side tube mocked up

Sick idea. Can't wait to see more! There are a lot of options out there now. Mainly thanks to dlux, however I like the berg cases. Maybe just my OCD that I can buff them out every few months and they are new again.

Transfer case to flex shaft? No rear motor will be a light weight rear for sure!

YES, its a 2.2S truck

Shocks and links just mocked up
I still need to narrow the rear axle then i can make the rear upper link mount.
still in thought on the center driveshaft coupler, to do a counter rotating driveshafts or not.

O snap!!! Someone is finally attempting it! Having the MOA front and running a shaft to the rear to make it 2.2s legal! WOW, this is going to be coooolll!

WOW...didn't see that one coming. Wouldn't the flex shaft be the simplest solution?

The flex shaft has been done with the losi, but I think the issue is you lose a ton of torque!
