Default Shock cap extenders

I see a lot of crawlers with shock cap extenders making their installation a lot easier in tight axle shock mounts. Where does one find these shock cap extenders?
Thanks

Do you mean the shock cap mod, where a revo rod end is put in place of the aluminum stock mount?

You have to do the cap mod bud. Then you'll get the room ya need. Google, rcc or YouTube search " big bore cap mod". You'll be good to go. If you don't want to do it, dlux sells them.

You just cut off the current top, drill a clearance hole for a 4mm screw, and put a rod end on it.

Maybe put a dab of silicone on the inside to prevent any oil leaks

I prefer a 3mm screw as 4mm can be really heavy especially in anything but aluminum.

If you get any oil in that part of the shock, its time for a rebuild.

Use a Traxxas Revo GTR shock end for the cap mod and a stock Traxxas shock end for the bottom. Like EDL says, use 3mm. Thread the cap too to reduce wobble if the screw should come loose. This has never happened to me but maybe that's why.
