| Berg V2 Axle Question
I recently found myself with a V2 Tracer and want to remove the chassis and use something else. What I can't for the life of me figure out is what I will need to mount the links/shocks and servo to the front axle. Also will V1 tubes and the DLux tubes work on these gear cases. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. |

The problem is the v1 tubes have a larger diameter than the v2 and the bolt pattern won't fit. It is possible if you were to redrill the tubes.

The length of the tubes might also be different between the V1 and V2. For your first question you will need this part to mount the lower links and shocks. For the servo mount I think you will have to use the original one or reposition the motor, mill the axle tubes and mount the servo between the motor and axle like they do on most Berg V1 ones. On the V2 gear cases there is enough room to make a normal sized servo to fit. But on the V3 cases there is too little room :( |

Thanks for the input. Am just trying to decide if they are worth putting on a different chassis or leave them on the V2 chassis. |
