I do not know if they have been redesigned or not, but the gears seem to work fine in the NCD transmission boxes for shafty's so I hope they will work for this application too.

The area for the glue is quite large, so I hope that glue will be enough. If that do not work I might consider pinning, but I do not like to drill holes in CF tubes.

Is there something missing?

What program do you use for those models?
I have made the gear box so you can use from 6T to 9T pinions. That, more or less, corresponds to use from 11T to 17T pinions in a standard Berg gear box.
One of the motor screws is fixed and you use the other screw to tilt the motor so you can use different pinions.

I use Autocad Fusion 360 to make the models.

Some progress

Front and rear axle bolted together and I have started to determine the length on the titanium tubes for the rear axle and the 7075 aluminum tubes for the front axle.

Front axle with Dlux Axial style drive shafts, RCBros locker and light weight 4th gear, the rest of the gears are stock lightened Berg V3 gears.

Rear axle with all lightened Berg V3 gears and my aluminum/carbon fibre rear drive shaft.

I am quite satisfied with the weight of the axles. The rear misses some bushings in the end of the axle tubes and the front lacks a servo mount.

Then I also started to put toghether some matching shocks, thanks RCBros for releasing the white shock body

Lessons learnt:
* Choose the polished white printed material... the rough white one capture dirt miles away...
* Gotta make the axle tube flanges a bitt beefier as I think the ones in the picture will be a bit too much on the risky side.

First some other questions have to be answered, will it hold up, do the design work, etc... but if it end up somewhat near like the axles in the pictures the price would be very affordable.

Thanks

If I start to offer them, then I would like the sides and tubes to be in woven CF and the printed parts in either, black, red, blue, green, yellow, purple, pink, orange, white or a mix of these colors.
So, a blacked out version will be possible

Also, if, or when I offer the axles I will also be able to offer some other part for the axles that is really awesome and color matched to these axles

Great work as usual...looking forward to seeing them under a rig. As far as the tube flanges go...you won't know if they need to be "beefier" unless you try them...

Thanks

Of course I will try out the tube flanges. I want to get some use for what they cost me

But now it is time to start making the chassis, and complete the axles ofc...

Btw, your old nicely decolored AX10 chubs will probably end up on this rig. The black plastic chubs is perhaps a bit lighter bit the silver ones looks so much better.
