ETRC Comp 2 was in December on a cold tractionless day None of the mod class scores were negative in this one, but the D-Lux Ultra Disco Edition pulled another win. One great thing about light trucks is that when traction is scarce, they don't need as much of it to pull up smooth slick climbs. Love that! Thanks for designing such extreme parts Erik! |

Way to be Harv! Sorry I missed this one.. :( Might be A different chassis, but the Dlux axles and parts remain extreme! |

Make sure you shave the sidewalls. It makes a huge difference.

| Re: Harvo's Disco Ultra Work It's not just a pretty profile or a zingy new design just for looks. This changes the geometry some from the Ultra. I'm still using a narrower skid than what comes with Erik's Chassis. (But I'm really wanting to try one of his aluminum ones.) The only tweak it looks like I'll need to do is tilt the axle forward as my current links with the new geometry has tilted it back some. Contacted Krawler Konceptz for some theme appropriate skins... with some zest. |

Awesome! I didnt see the pics of the Sedonas but make sure you put BB's in with the memory foams. Its the only way I could make memory foams work. Oh, putting the foams in the freezer helps too. |

I got it mostly done. I made some body panels out of delrin sheet for now. Looks pretty dark well... except for the baby blue zip ties. At least I matched the sticker I missed the good light for pictures, so I will get some better ones soon. Anyway.... the car seems to flow over rocks really well. I'll take it out for some testing this week and get some video hopefully. One thing I already notice is that there is no rear wheel hiking up. I had just about tuned that out from the old set up, but this one doesn't even give a hint that it ever will do that. Great job Erik! |
