Default broke berg, need help!

My newly acquired used berg has an issue. Im new to crawling and have no clue what I bought. I have no intentions of competing but want it to work as best as possible. My issue at the moment is that it is now three wheel drive. One of the front tires will roll but not put power to the ground. I took the front tire and the steering block off and noticed the piece attached to the axle was spinning freely. I tightened the small screws holding it to the axle and it worked for a bit. Now it is doing the same thing. I believe the axle is stripped and rounded off. I look online for an axle but all I find is what I would consider an axle tube. I have no clue what model axles I have. Any help is appreciated. Im going to try to post pics of my issue asap.

It sounds like you have the Berg V2 or V3 axles. The axle part number in that case is EBG192 and can be found on amain

That looks like a V2 axle so the part I linked to above will work.

If you would like to get the manual with exploded views and part numbers of your axle send me a PM.

I'm totally lost. The pic in the link blew my mind.

How does steering work with a solid straight axle on the front?

I've been told that Erik from Dlux Fabs is an Enroute dealer and can gut whatever you want. He is a member and vendor on this site and has a website with the stuff he makes for bergs.

Website is DLUX FAB
You won't find what you need on his site, but contact him to check on the part you need.

His name on here is Erik D_lux

Sure that's not a broken dogbone? Ugh? Just looked at the link...

Can we please see a picture of the other side of the same axle??

Edit...just figured it out... There is a drive "cup" side of the CVD with a hole through it pins on to the axle shaft and locks in with a set screw. The "ball" side of the CVD is also the wheel stub. Google image is amazing.

I can take more pics in the morning. Im heading out to work now. Im not exactly sure what part is the dog bone. Im guessing the end of the axle tube. The issue I think its having is the driveshaft is slipping in the cup with the two set screws. The piece that the tire bolts to. Sorry no clue what the correct terminology is. I know cars and bikes not little crawlers lol.

No problem, I may have confused the issue... Dog bones WERE what the older Bergs came with stock instead of a CVD. CVD (or swingshaft) is a newer style solution to the old dog bone system. Get some pictures up and I'll try not to confuse the issue more.

You can also get EBG116. I do not remember why I prefered EBG192 (which is an upgrade part) over EBG116 but perhaps that is easier to find so you can be up and running again.
