Got a berg
 

Hey guys I picked up a Berg V1 the other day. I've been chatting with Dlux about a steering system for it. I'm just working the cash around for his axles and knuckles but that's a lot of $$ to get steering for a guy who will only play around with others and never actually compete. The stock steering works but it needs more. It has Tekin 45T motors and a novak M2dig esc, I don't like novak electronics at all but so far it seems to be working.

What pinion gears fit these? It looks like its a bit longer than a normal pinion gear. It has 12T in it now and the rear has a bit of wear on it and I'd like to put a new on in there. Do they make 13T pinions?

I'll get some pics posted either this evening or tomorrow, not that you guys have never seen a berg before :lmao:

As for cheap steering mods, is there anything I can do while I work up the money for the real stuff to get tighter turning?

Yep! Robinson Racing 1113. The 11 series RR pinions are metrics in which bergs use. The last two numbers is the tooth count. EX 1112 is a 12 tooth, 1114 is a 14 tooth etc...
