Default Chaotic Smash?

Anyone still running this chassis.
I have two and just realized they do not make spec on height unless you replace the cross members with thicker material.
Or make a thicker skid.
About 1/16" short of 3".

After scrutinizing these, my newest one purchase a week or so before they closed doors, is 1/8" short of making spec.
My older chassis is 1/16" over spec.
Possibly changing tops may get both in, worth the try.

Just a thought that popped in my head and maybe you already checked..

Wonder if there are any height difference's if you rotate the cab from the way you measured it?

I checked my thread on mine. It was 3¹/8" skid to roof line..

Yeah, the minimum measurement depends on how you have the skid raked. It should have a small angle as shown in the pics. If not, it will be too short.

If the skid is sittng flat on the table it will measure short (as will most chassis's iirc)

It's designed to sit with a rake to the skid.

Ok, got it.
So the flat of the skid is not the lowest plane.
Makes way more sense now.
