Default Top shelf, my newest Berg

Top Shelf is the name in my model list, so I'm going with it.
This is either my 2013 or 2016 season rig, it's taken soooo long to work on.
I started in 2013 and maybe it'll be finished for the 2016 season,

CCC gear cases with RCBros gears, Mann gears and SDS gears.
RCBros tubes, Creeper's rear shafts, Modified SDS HD Unis, VP chubs and Knuks with large bearing mods.
RCBros weight system, Summit RC 7950 servo cover, custom servo under belly, Robitronics short horn, Custom Ti drag link and Tie rod.
Shift wheel mounts and Neg Space wheels with VooDoos and CI Foams.
Modded Kyosho Velvets from Super Shafty.
Mfawv rear upper link mount and custom front upper link mount.
Sudu chassis with Dlux control links with my own tapered Ti ferrules.
2 Holmes Hobbies Mini BRs stacked with CC BEC. The servo is Alt wiring to save the Airtronics RX from the BEC output of 8.4v.
A pair of Holmes stubby motors.
Some Ti can shields on the motors and black delrin link cuffs so the VooDoos don't wad up on my links.
All the body panels are .5mm Titanium also.
All the rod end balls are aluminum. The shock mount balls are mine as well as the white spring retainers.
Four of my cross members are Ti also, tying the shocks together and just beyond the shocks.
Rowdy battery tray.
Running on ThunderPower 70C 325MaH 3s and Airtronics MT4S.

RTR it weighs in at 3lbs 8oz.
Shake down run this Saturday and it's first comp on Sunday, hopefully, if nothing shakes off.
Then I need to break it all down, replace some fasteners for proper length and weigh savings. Make some suspension tweaks and anodize all the Titanium.

Pics in a few minutes.

Very clean build, loving the stainless panels against the rest of the components! Also killer to see some life back in this section.

Thanks.
Nothing special, just cut down for Berg and my bronze bushings.
One is clicking cuz the tang is narrow, should be fine though.

I just spit iced tea all over my keyboard.

I just got some appropriate shocks for the other Berg so it should be running soon. It will be a SIMPLE Berg running old school dig switches and Barbie boxes.
;)

Thanks guys.
Yes Floki, the Kyosho shocks are so supple and smooth, incredible.
These were full length and I cut them down to 90mm but left the shafts full length.
The titanium may seem baller but the tins are super cheap and simple to make.
I think the sheet cost me $10 less shipping. Cut it with old tin snips and drilled it with a high speed drill bit and a cordless driver. Shaped it with a bench grinder.
It's .02" thick. I just bought a big sheet of .01" thick that'll cover a bunch of rigs.
I need to make a 1/10 scale slip roll.

Here's the coolest thing, Youtube anodizing titanium.
You can do it at home with simple ingredients and 9v batteries.
Just don't do the anodize by torch, not good.

Just googled titanium anodizing after reading this - very cool, and seems pretty easy. Thanks for the tip - going to try it on my wraith panels!

Ok, so one small issue during the shake down run.
The Thunder Power 325MaH 3s doesn't last very long.
Maybe if I'm lucky it may last one course, I clocked it at 7-8 minutes.
Which means I may need to move my electronics to the Rowdy battery and use a 850Mah LiPo in the chassis.
This sucks but it's doable.

Here are some better pics.

Any advice on using these 325 lipos?
Tweak down my throttle EPAs?
